The benefit of the Zirconia ceramic tipped carriers are as
follows, Zirconia is three times harder than steel
carriers which means they will last three times long
before any signs of wear, the wear factor on carriers is
becoming more and more important due to the abrasive
nature of today’s new yarns.
Zirconia is becoming the standard ceramic preferred by the
knitting manufacturers of today as it is a moulding which
can be made into complex shapes and then sintered at a
very high temperature to give its hardness levels. It is a
very cost effective way of making yarn carriers for the
hi-tech nature of today’s knitting machines.
On most of the pictured carriers we can offer a 24hr
delivery service (subject to availability) and in some
case we can offer a part exchange service for your old
worn carriers.
